Culver 100

100 mile yacht race on beautiful Lake Worth, TX.  Hosted by the Lake Worth Sailing Club.  All sailboats classes may register, however, the trophy is only eligible to Catalina 25 entrants.

The race will start late in the afternoon on Friday and end sometime Saturday or Sunday.  Presentation of the trophy will be made after all boats are in.

RULES: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2021-2024, the notice of race, and the sailing instructions.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Shall be available to all registrants at the time of registration and check-in at the Lake Worth Sailing Club.

COURSE: The course will be marked by four buoys (A, B, C and D), starting at the flagpole, completing 12 laps and finishing back at the flag pole.

RACING AREA: The racing Area is located within Lake Worth (course below). Start/finish line will be between Mosque Point and the LWSC flagpole.

SCORING: Culver 100 trophy will be awarded to first place Catalina 25. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded to participants finishing the race.

PARTICIPATION: All boats may enter, only Catalina 25’s may win perpetual trophy. The results will be based on standing upon finishing.

SCHEDULE: Registration at 5:00. Skippers Meeting @ 5:30pm. Race to begin at 6:30pm, starting Friday. Until 12 laps have been completed.

SAFETY: All skippers are responsible for their own safety, the safety of their crew, and the safety of their boat. All skippers are expected to meet or exceed U.S. Coast Guard requirements

DISCLAIMER: It shall be the responsibility of each skipper and crew member to decide whether to start or to continue to race. The Regatta Organization Committee, Race Officers, Officers and Members. The Lake worth Sailing Club shall not be responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from their actions.

 PRIZES: The perpetual trophy will be awarded to first place Catalina 25. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be presented. Lake worth Sailing Club, Fort Worth, Texas
